Oxygen for medical applications
The medical treatment of patients often involves the supply of medical oxygen. The prompt and continuous availability of oxygen often makes the difference between life and death. Ensuring an oxygen supply is therefore a top priority in static and mobile medicine.
Many hospitals use an oxygen generator to generate oxygen on-site. This is used for anaesthesia in the operating theatre, for example. In addition, the generator is often used to fill cylinders. These are used in hospital rooms and mobile emergency vehicles for ventilating patients. In this way, hospitals avoid the risk of supply shortages in relation to the procurement of oxygen cylinders. In addition, on-site oxygen production can lower costs considerably and protect the environment.
The Inmatec POC Med series generators provide an oxygen purity of 93%-95% and therefore meet the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia for medical gases, ISO 7396-1:2016 for pipeline systems for medical gases and ISO 13485:2016 for the quality management system for medical device manufacturers. In addition, the INMATEC oxygen generators are certified in accordance with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC.
With our oxygen generators, we supply high quality solutions for the stationary and mobile production of oxygen for different applications, including for low volume requirements.
