Nitrogen for tank cleaning
With regard to tanks used to store liquid substances such as oil, residues form over time which need to be removed at regular intervals. Nitrogen reduces the risk of explosions and fires during cleaning.
When oil is stored in tanks, slag settles on the bottom of the tanks over the course of time. The tank therefore loses its effectiveness. Oil tanks are cleaned at specific intervals for this reason. To this end, the tanks are flushed and blown out with nitrogen to avoid inflammatory reactions between oil residues and cleaning agents. As an inert gas, nitrogen is highly inert. It displaces any oxygen present and therefore prevents chemical reactions that can result in fires.
With our nitrogen generators, we supply high quality solutions for the stationary and mobile production of nitrogen for different applications, including for low volume requirements.
