Inmatec oxygen generator produces medical oxygen in another Peruvian hospital

The Clínica Cayetano Heredia in Lima is one of the best hospitals in the country. It is now producing medical oxygen on site to supply its patients with oxygen. This is used in many areas of the clinic, including in the operating rooms and to care for Covid-19 patients. The clinic is one of numerous clinics in the country that use an Inmatec oxygen generator to produce oxygen.

The Cayetano Heredia Hospital cares for patients in the Lima area and offers medical services in the fields of cardiology, oncology, urology, traumatology, gynecology, internal medicine and surgery, among others. The clinic, managed by the Peruvian Ministry of Health, has state-of-the-art technology for diagnosing and treating diseases. It also serves as a teaching and research facility for the University Peruana Cayetano Heredia, and every year it produces new medical professionals and treatment methods. For example, a clinical study is currently taking place on the use of a new corona vaccine from China with several thousand participants.

To ensure the supply of medical oxygen, the hospital has now acquired a POC 8400 oxygen generator from Inmatec. This produces over 24 m3 of oxygen per hour with a purity of up to 95%. The generator was recently delivered and installed and now supplies the entire hospital with the vital gas.
