Inmatec receives the Innovation Award 2021

Inmatec Gastechnologie receives the "Innovation Award 2021 Innovation Level" in the category "Innovative Product or Patent in the Healthcare Sector". The Senetics Healthcare Group is honoring the achievements of the Bavarian company Inmatec in the R&D area for the manufacture of innovative products.

The award went to the new OFC technology (oxygen flow creation technology), which is used in medical oxygen generators. The new valve technology is used in the pressure swing adsorption systems to ensure more energy-efficient air separation. The OFC technology within the on-site generators enables hospitals and healthcare providers to generate medical oxygen directly on site. A delivery of liquid oxygen via external suppliers is no longer necessary. In particular, the uninterrupted supply for patients in areas with poor infrastructure could be improved with the help of the energy-saving solution. The use of OFC technology saves up to 40% of the electricity costs in the production of medical oxygen. This expands the supply options enormously, especially in poorer countries, as significantly more oxygen can now be made available for patients with the same amount of electricity.

The Senetics Healthcare Group, based in Ansbach, is a specialist in the health sector, which is based as a development service provider and consultant in the entire medical and pharmaceutical industry. The company awards the Senetics Innovation Award after evaluation by an expert jury, which takes into account the level of innovation and practical applicability as a benchmark in the decision.
